According to Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov, during four years, 80 militants voluntarily surrendered to the authorities, and all of them were pardoned. 14 militants are on the wanted list of the republic.

In September 2011, Yunus-Bek Evkurov signed a decree to create a commission to assist the adaptation to civilian life of those persons, who decided to stop their terrorist and extremist activities on the territory of Ingushetia.

At present, according to the Ingush leader, 14 persons are on the federal and international wanted lists.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in March, Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov recommended the Ingush residents, who decided to stop their extremist activities, to apply to the commission for adaptation of militants and to report to the authorities all the details of their activities for the objective examination of their situation.

It should be noted that in July 2014, in his interview to the "Caucasian Knot", Yunus-Bek Evkurov reported on 67 militants and their accomplices, who surrendered during 2013 and the first half of 2014. Of them, eight were sentenced, and 59 others were pardoned and adapted to civilian life.
