Women, children leave Georgian villages of South Osetia
Women and children are leaving Georgian villages in the Bolshaya Liakhva Gorge, South Osetia, Georgian TV Company Rustavi 2 informed on June 18. The reported reason for it is that residents of Osetian villages blocked roads leading to the Georgian villages and the population turned out to be in an economic blockade.
The women and children are settling mainly in the Gori district of Georgia, which is bordering on the zone of the Georgian-Osetian conflict.
