Volgograd: classmates of victims of terror act come to rally
Participants of the rally held to mark the second anniversary of the terror act in Volgograd have expressed the need for the prevention of terrorism and promotion of tolerance among young people.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 21, 2013, an explosion occurred in a route bus No. 29. The total death toll, including a female suicide bomber, reached eight persons, and 55 other persons were injured. Today, 80 people came to the rally in memory of victims to the terror act.
The meeting took place in the Krasnoarmeisk District of Volgograd near Bow-Down Cross. A lot of young people came to the rally. One of the young women said that she was in the bus, when the terror act occurred. She has added that she "never gives interviews."
Evgeniya Pokhilko, a student of the Volgograd State University (VolSU), said that the terror act killed her cousin Kirill Litvinenko.
"It is necessary to check the documents of all guests and locals and not to accommodate any one in hotels by arrangements. Besides, schools should include lessons of tolerance," Evgeniya Pokhilko believes.
"Here, my niece Yuliya Prikhodchenko was killed in the terror act," said Nadezhda Pimkina. She has noted that Yuliya left a four-year-old daughter, who now lives with her father.
