People in Ingushetia wait for nightfall with fear
The 503th regiment of the Russian Defense Ministry, stationed on the outskirts of the village of Troitskaya, Ingushetia's Sunzha district, has arranged mobile posts on the most important parts of republican roads since the early morning of June 22. Extra military units and military equipment of the Russian Defense Ministry are being transferred to Ingushetia from the Chechen republic. Control at the stationary posts along the administrative border of Ingushetia with Chechnya and North Osetia is redoubled. The entry to and departure from the republic are limited.
Residents of Ingushetia are in anxious expectation of nightfall. They are afraid that clashes in the streets of the republic can start again after dark.
