Magomed Mutsolgov reports on photos planted into his PC
The police have notified Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the human rights organization "Mashr", about photos of child pornography found in memory of his PC. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" by the human rights activist himself.
On November 6, in Ingushetia, men in masks searched the office of the Ingush human rights organization "Mashr" and the house of its leader Magomed Mutsolgov. During the search, staff members of the "Mashr" were blocked at the office. Law enforcers seized documents and PCs from the office of the organization. On November 30, part of the seized property was returned; however, two PC system blocks and a hard disk were sent to the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
According to Zhabrail Abubakarov, an advocate of the human rights defender, on December 9, Magomed Mutsolgov was questioned during about two hours.
"The fact is that the charge of possession of photos of child pornography does not hold any critics," Zhabrail Abubakarov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to Magomed Mutsolgov himself, he "could not even imagine that someone could plant files with child pornography to his PC."
"I realize that field investigators have been keeping the PC system blocks for such a long time not in vain. Meanwhile, during the operative and search activities in my office and at home, the PC system blocks were not packaged and not sealed," Magomed Mutsolgov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
