Kurds complain to UN office in Yerevan about Turkish policy

In Shaumyan Square in Yerevan, about 50 Kurdish women and children organized a protest action demanding to "stop the genocide of the Kurdish people in Turkey."

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports that the protesters marched from Shaumyan Square to the UN Office in Yerevan, where they handed a letter addressed to Bradley Buzetto, the head of the Office.

Activists are chanting: "Freedom for Öcalan!" (Leader of the Kurdistan Workers' Party) and "No to female genocide!" In their hands, they hold portraits of the Kurdish women, killed by Turkish militaries.
