MCC returns case against Dagestani woman to Prosecutor's Office

The case against Patimat Gadjieva, a native of Dagestan, accused of public justification of terrorism, has been returned to the Prosecutor's Office for correct determination of the jurisdiction. This was noted by the decision pronounced by the Moscow City Court (MCC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 24, the Solntsevo District Court of Moscow started to consider the case against Patimat Gadjieva, accused of placing on the Internet the symbols of the "Islamic State", prohibited in Russia. On March 3, at the advocate's request, the case was transferred to the Moscow Military Court.

Earlier, Timur Aliev, the advocate of Patimat Gadjieva, has stated that his client had no intention to incite hatred and call for terrorism, and when the woman made a post in the social network, she "wanted to discuss with her friends the events in Syria."
