Mikhail Kasyanov appeals to Stavropol police after two attacks on him

Mikhail Kasyanov, the leader of the "PARNAS" Party, claims that the first attack on him was committed after the beginning of his meeting with voters, and the second after the end of the event.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the first attack on Mikhail Kasyanov has been committed today in Stavropol in front of the "Continent" Hotel, around which about 30 people gathered. This was reported by Andrei Zubov, a candidate to the State Duma from the "PARNAS" Party, who flew to Stavropol with the chairman of the Party.

According to Mikhail Kasyanov, he was repeatedly attacked "after a three-hour meeting." "Hooligans once again attacked us. They were throwing tomatoes and eggs to us and event to the policemen who accompanied us. Meanwhile, they were shouting threats and used bad language," Mikhail Kasyanov wrote on his Facebook page.

On his Twitter account, opposition activist Ilya Yashin wrote that the number of the attackers involved Cossacks and subordinates of acting Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov.

In front of the "Continent" Hotel, according to a photo posted on the website of the "PARNAS" Party, Mikhail Kasyanov was waited by people wearing T-shirts of the Terek Cossack Army. Meanwhile, they stood next to a car with the state registration numbers of a KRA series.

The state registration numbers of the above series are "traditionally used by subordinates of Ramzan Kadyrov, since those three letters represent his initials," the "Rosbalt" reports.
