Participant of Kuban farmers' protest claims being beaten by policemen
Truck driver Rustam Malamagomedov, detained in the Rostov Region after his arrival to support the protest of Kuban farmers, complains about force used by policemen against him.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 22, in the Rostov Region, policemen detained truck driver Rustam Malamagomedov and Sergey Vladimirov, who were shooting on video the actions of the policemen.
Rustam Malamagomedov was beaten at night on August 23, reports Alexei Volchenko, the leader of the movement "Polite Farmers". According to him, at present, the truck driver stays in bed at the hotel in serious condition.
Alexei Volchenko has also added that the complaint about the attack was filed to the Prosecutor's Office for the Aksai District.
According to Rustam Malamagomedov, law enforcers handcuffed him and began to beat him, and then they released him and drove away, the "Echo of Moscow" reports with reference to the BBC Russian Service.
