32 athletes from countries of Southern Caucasus to compete at Paralympic Games in Rio
32 athletes from the countries of Southern Caucasus will take part in the Paralympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro on September 7-18. The national team of Azerbaijan is the most numerous one, and it includes 27 athletes. Georgia will be represented by three athletes, and Armenia by two athletes.
The names of 18 Paralympic athletes are made public, including seven judokas (Sabina Abdullaeva, Ramin Ibragimov, Bairam Mustafaev, Ramil Gasymov, Rovshan Safarov, Kyanan Abdullakhanly and Ilham Zakiev), two power lifters (Razm Azar, Elshan Huseinov), two swimmers (Dmitry and Roman Salei), six athletes (Kyamil Aliev, Elchin Muradov, Rufat Rafiev, Irada Alieva, Elena Chebanu, Elmir Djabrailov), and an athlete in shooting (Elena Taranova), the "cbc.az" reports.
