Varvara Karaulova's father reports on law enforcers' promise not to prosecute his daughter

At the trial, Pavel Karaulov has reported that the Russian FSB agents, who accompanied him with his daughter, said that investigators had been refused in opening of a criminal case against Varvara Karaulova. According to Pavel Karaulov, in Turkey, he was also assured that "no criminal case" was instituted against Varvara Karaulova.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from October 5, the Moscow District Military Court considers the case against Varvara Karaulova, a student of the Moscow State University (MSU), accused of an attempt to join a terrorist organization in Syria. On October 18, the Varvara Karaulova's father reported about the search for his daughter in Turkey.

Today, the father of Varvara Karaulova has said that he was aware of his daughter's long-term correspondence with a Muslim.

According to Pavel Karaulov, the FSB agents, who accompanied them, stated that the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) had formally announced the refusal to institute a criminal case against his daughter.
