CTO legal regime lifted in village of Kvanada

Today, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime introduced in the village of Kvanada of the Tsumada District of Dagestan on October 21 has been lifted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening of October 21, the CTO legal regime was introduced in the village of Kvanada and two people were killed. According to the law enforcement bodies, the killed suspects were militants of the "Tsumada" grouping, and they joined it back in 2014.

Today, at 11:30 a.m. Moscow time, the CTO legal regime has been lifted, the "TASS" reports with reference to an official from the Operative Headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) for Dagestan.

It should be noted that in the village of Kvanada, the CTO was carried out for the second time in 2016. Earlier, after the introduction of the CTO legal regime in the village of Kvanada, Magomed Abdulkhalikov was killed there, and the laws enforcement bodies called him the active leader of the "Tsumada" militant grouping.
