Suspect of killing judge in KChR detained
Pilyal Djatdoev, a 53-year-old resident of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), detained on suspicion of killing Judge Ruslan Botashev, called the judge's decision to reduce his pension to be the motive for the murder, investigators report.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ruslan Botashev, the Acting Chairman of the Malokarachay District Court, was shot dead today in his own car in the village of Pervomaiskoe.
According to the Investigating Department (ID) for the KChR of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the above Djatdoev, 53, has been detained on suspicion of murdering Judge Botashev.
"During the interrogation, Djatdoev has explained that three years ago, on the basis of the judgment passed by Judge Botashev, his pension was significantly reduced; therefore, he committed the murder," says the release of the ID for the KChR of the ICRF, received by the "Caucasian Knot".
