According to law enforcement bodies, the militants shot dead tonight in the outskirt of the village of Teletl were Ibragim Amirov, the leader of Shamil militants, and his subordinate Gamzatapandi Magomedov, a law enforcement source has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, referring to power agents, that the shootout near Teletl occurred after law enforcers found, within the CTO, two armed men, who, when offered to surrender, opened fire.

The casualties have been pre-identified as the locals Ibragim Amirov, born in 1989, and Gamzatapandi Magomedov, born in 1982, said a law enforcement source.
