Person killed by power agents in Khasavyurt identified

The casualty of the shootout that broke on January 17 in Khasavyurt turned to be the 38-year-old Ruslan Magomedov, said the spokesman of the investigating authority.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on January 17 a man was killed by power agents after opening fire, when policemen tried to stop his car.

Now, investigators are checking for possible Magomedov’s involvement in other crimes, as Rasul Temirbekov, the spokesman of the Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), told the "Caucasian Knot".
