Emergency hearings on construction of museum in park held in Makhachkala after criticism of project
At the discussion of the construction of the museum complex "Russia – My Story" in the Lenin Komsomol Park in Makhachkala, Zagra Magomedova, a Deputy of the District Assembly, sharply criticized the project.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Dagestani newspaper "Chernovik" (Draft) invited Makhachkala residents to make a tour, on January 29, to the Lenin Komsomol Park. The reason was in the plans "of the republic's and Makhachkala leadership to cut the most developed infrastructure of the park, where they plan to build a museum of Russia," said Mairbek Agaev, the editor-in-chief of the "Chernovik".
The above hearings took place on January 27 at the initiative of the Public Chamber of the city, and were attended by the chief architect of the city, Deputies of the Makhachkala City Council, members of the Public Chamber and of the Makhachkala Inter-District Committee on Ecology and Land Use, and of the Council of Elders of Makhachkala.
The organizers of the hearings "have successfully drowned the topic in percentages and paragraphs, while avoiding talking about the main point," the journalist Sergey Rasulov wrote in his page on the Facebook.
The video from the mobile phone of the speech of Deputy Zagra Magomedova has disappeared from the posts on the Internet. Then, the video reappeared in social networks, including the Magomedova's page in the Instagram.
