Dagestani’s relatives state his kidnapping by power agents

Said Saipudinov, a resident of the neighbourhood Shamkhal of Makhachkala, was kidnapped by armed men in masks, his relatives told the "Caucasian Knot".

According to Gavsula Saipudinov, his son was kidnapped in Shamkhal in the morning on February 12. The father asserts that he had witnessed the kidnapping of his son. "On Sunday, around 7:30 a.m., unknown armed people broke into my son’s house. Some of them were in masks; several of them were in police uniform; and three others were in civilian clothes. They showed no IDs and said that they would make a search, but failed to show a search warrant," Gavsula Saipudinov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The masked men "turned everything upside down in the house, but found nothing illegal," said the father. "The search lasted for about an hour; then, they took away Said with them, but failed to explain why. They said that he would be taken to one of the police stations," said Gavsula Saipudinov.

Said’s relatives complained to the prosecutor’s office and the MIA of Dagestan, said the advocate Israfil Gadadov, who represents the interests of Said Saipudinov.
