CTO legal regime in Dagestani village lifted

Law enforcers have completed measures to search for members of the armed underground in the village of Andi of the Botlikh District. This was reported by the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO legal regime was announced in the village of Andi on February 7. Meanwhile, the Andi villagers noted no restrictions because of the CTO legal regime. On February 11, local residents reported that law enforcers undermined a dugout on the outskirts of the village.

The CTO legal regime was lifted today at 12:30 a.m. Moscow time, and law enforcers completed special events, the "Interfax" reports with reference to an official of the operative headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) for Dagestan.

In the period of the CTO legal regime, law enforcers discovered a militants' dugout near the village of Andi. Munitions were found in several rooms. An iron door was installed in one of the rooms. According to law enforcers, the room could be used to hold hostages, the TV Company "Dagestan" reported on February 13.
