Kuban farmers find supporters for their "tractor march"
The new "tractor march" will be coordinated with the authorities in order to avoid detentions of protesters. This was announced by farmers. According to them, taxi drivers and truck drivers will also take part in the protest action.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 15, Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), plans to meet Kuban farmers from the initiative group of the protestors.
On March 13, Moscow hosted the press conference of farmers and truck drivers, at which the protestors announced their plans to hold a new "tractor march" in spring. This was reported by Alexei Volchenko, the leader of the movement "Polite Farmers". According to him, truck drivers plan to hold a "mass strike with a demand to abolish the 'Platon' system, and the farmers want to organize a 'tractor march' under a title of 'Walking along the Moscow Ring Road'."
Meanwhile, according to Alexei Volchenko, provocateurs tried to disrupt the press conference.
He also argues that "agents of secret services in civilian clothes controlled all movements of the farmers."
According to Alexei Volchenko, "in the Krasnodar Territory, the activists-farmers permanently face pressure." "On March 8, lawyer and blogger Sergey Zemtsov was attacked, and the authorities want to open a criminal crime on fraud against activist Nikolai Maslov," noted Alexei Volchenko.
