Four trucks of drivers on protest damaged in Manas

This morning, truck drivers, who on March 31 attempted to hold in Dagestan a motor rally against the "Platon" system, found damage on four of their trucks.

On March 27 Russian truckers resumed their mass protests against the "Platon" system, launched to collect payment from heavy truck drivers for using federal highways. Protest actions took place, in particular, in Volgograd, Astrakhan, Baksan, truckers are also on strike in Dagestan and North Ossetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31, in the Dagestani city of Manas, the police blocked the trucks, which drivers were protesting against the "Platon" system, and their planned motor rally to Makhachkala and back was disrupted.

At night, a bumper and a front wheel were torn off from one of the cars, and windshields of three other trucks were shattered. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Ruslan Magomedov, one of the protestors.

Until present, the "Caucasian Knot" does not have any comments from the law enforcement bodies regarding the information.
