Police disperse protest action of Dagestani truck drivers near Tukhchar

After in the vicinity of the village of Tukhchar, truck drivers on protest against the "Platon" system have refused to leave the place of the protest, the police used force against them. About ten people were detained, report the truck drivers who took part in the rally.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 27, Russian truck drivers, including in the south of Russia, resumed their mass protests against the "Platon" system. About 80 truck drivers carried out a strike in front of the village of Tukhchar in the Novolak District of Dagestan. This afternoon, the police asked them to leave the land on which they were standing. However, the truck drivers refused and demanded to invite the owner of the land plot to the place.

Today, the protest action has been dispersed at about 9:00 p.m., the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the protesters.

According to one of the participants of the protest action, about ten truck drivers were detained, and the others left the place after that.
