Islamic State* takes responsibility for attack in Dagestan
The Islamic State (IS), a terrorist organization, banned in Russia, has taken responsibility for the attack on policemen at a fuelling station in Dagestan, where one policeman was killed, and another one was wounded and hospitalized.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the above attack was committed in the city of Kaspiysk this morning. At that moment, a police patrol unit was at the fuelling station. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), two attackers stabbed two policemen. One of them died, the other was hospitalized.
The information that the IS has taken responsibility for the attack on policemen in Kaspiysk was posted on its page on the Twitter by the SITE Intelligence Group, a non-profit organization, which monitors the activity of terrorist groupings on the Internet; the post has reference to the “Amaq” news agency, linked with militants.
