North-Ossetian CEC refuses to regard video records as violation evidence

The video records posted on the YouTube, the authors of which position them as evidence of ballot throw-in at polling stations in North Ossetia, do not prove violations. This was declared by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of North Ossetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, residents of North Ossetia elected members of the republic’s legislative assembly.

On September 11, Zhanna Morgoeva, the chair for the North-Ossetian CEC, held a press conference in the course of which she reported the CEC got six complaints about violations committed during the voting.

On September 10, the YouTube posted three videos, the authors of which claimed they "managed to film the ballot throw-in at the elections to the Parliament of North Ossetia-Alania."

The chair for the North-Ossetian CEC has admitted she had watched the videos. "At least, in the video posted on a social network, I did not see anything looking like ballot throw-in," Ms Morgoeva has stated.

According to her story, "the video records, the authors of which claim violations, have been carefully studied by CEC experts."
