Volgograd housing shareholder call on to boycott presidential election
This morning, Volgograd housed a rally of defrauded housing shareholders of the cooperative named “Park Evropeisky”. The rally participants called for boycotting the presidential election and demanding the cancellation of the 2018 World Cup in Volgograd.
About 200 people took part in the protest rally.
Alexander Nazarov, the organizer, spoke to the rally and said that the measures taken by the authorities to solve the problems of housing shareholders "are purely declarative in Russia."
"On the demand of Russian government, a month ago, the website of the administration of the Volgograd Region posted a road map on the completion of ‘problematic objects’. The document has a declarative nature and fails to define specific deadlines and executors," said Alexander Nazarov.
He reminded the rally that some 1500 citizens, that is, a half of all the deceived housing co-investors registered in the Volgograd Region, including family members, are shareholders of the "Park Evropeisky" cooperative.
Alexander Nazarov offered the rally participants, should their demands are not heard by the regional administration, to boycott the presidential election and demand the cancellation of Football World Cup-2018 matches in Volgograd. The protesters approved the proposal with applause.
