Dagestani politician intends running for Russian presidency

Sirazhdin Ramazanov, the leader of Social Democratic Party from Dagestan wants to get nominated for the presidential election.

According to the press service of the party, "Ramazanov has a rich background of political struggle – more than 20 years; and he chairs the party for 5 years already."

According to Professor Victor Ilyin, a Party Board Member, "the Sirazhdin Ramazanov’s nomination was discussed at the start of the campaign (in 2016) as a priority." He has specified that during Ramazanov's election to the State Duma only in one Moscow district over 20,000 voters’ signatures in his support were gathered, the "Yuga.ru" reports.

The party's website specifies that Ramazanov was a candidate for the State Duma, and was nominated for the post of Moscow Mayor.
