In Telavi, office of "European Georgia" Party attacked
In the city of Telavi, a man attacked an office of the "European Georgia" Party and threatened to use weapons. After his detention, it turned out that his pistol was a model of combat weapon.
The office of the opposition "European Georgia-Movement for Freedom" Party in Telavi was attacked on October 8.
The citizen who threatened with the pistol was detained several minutes after the attack. The attacker has been identified. The weapon, which he used to threaten people, appeared to be a plastic toy pistol, the "Georgia-Online" reports.
The man who attacked the office demanded from party activists to stop their pre-election campaign activities. Members of the "European Georgia" Party suggest the incident is backed up by a competing political party.
