In Sochi, a Navalny's supporter holds picket in support of Gudimov and Khristosenko

In Sochi, an activist of the Navalny's office has held a solo picket in protest against the arrests of Olesya Khristosenko, who made a selfie on the porch of the Navalny's office, and Konstantin Gudimov, who drove around Sochi on a bicycle with a balloon.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 24, the court sentenced Konstantin Gudimov to 12 days of arrest, and Olesya Khristosenko to eight days of arrest. Konstantin Gudimov went on hunger strike to protest against the court's decision.

Earlier this morning, in Sochi, Pavel Barkhatov, an activist of the Navalny's office, spent several hours standing near the shopping centre "Alexandria" with a poster reading: "For what are people sentenced in Russia? Konstantin Gudimov was driving on a bicycle with a red balloon! He got 12 days of arrest. Olesya Khristosenko made a selfie with friends on the porch of the Navalny's office and got 8 days of arrest".

The picket passed without incidents, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"Olesya Khristosenko and Konstantin Gudimov did not deserve to be held behind bars. They did not commit any crime or offence. On the contrary, they want to cleanse our society of corrupt officials and those who falsify civil, criminal and administrative cases. The fact that they are sentenced to 8 and 12 days of arrest cannot stand any criticism," Pavel Barkhatov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent after the picket.
