Kadyrov supports Sobchak's idea to bury Lenin
Ramzan Kadyrov has called on to remove the body of Vladimir Lenin from Red Square and to bury him. On October 27, a similar statement was made by Ksenia Sobchak, who criticized the authorities of Chechnya for violating the rights of residents in the republic.
"We need to bury the bodies of Lenin and Imam Shamil Khadji-Murat, whose head is stored in the museum of Saint Petersburg," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in Telegram.
The leader of Chechnya has noted that "of course, the question of the Vladimir Lenin's burial should be solved by President Vladimir Putin." "It's high time to bury the leader of the October revolution. It's reasonable and humane," Ramzan Kadyrov added.
On October 27, TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak said that if elected to the post of the Russian President, she would issue a decree to remove the Vladimir Lenin's body from Red Square.
In December 2014, Ksenia Sobchak publicly condemned the position of the Chechen authorities. At the annual press conference of Vladimir Putin, she voiced a question concerning whether Ramzan Kadyrov, being a guarantor of the Constitution, intended to protect citizens whose "houses were burnt down."
