Tbilisi: special operation accompanied by explosion

Last night in Tbilisi, power agents began a special operation. According to the "Rustavi-2" TV Channel, two suspects of involvement in terrorist activities were detained, rendering resistance at detention and opening fire at policemen.

So far, there is no law enforcers' official confirmation about the detention of suspects.

According to the edition "Interpressnews.ge", an explosion occurred in the venue of the special operation that was held in Gabriel Salos Street; before the explosion, a strong sound of broken glass could be heard.

From the building, in which the suspects barricaded themselves after the shooting was opened, all the tenants were evacuated. The residential building is cordoned off by policemen who demanded from everyone to leave their apartments, the "Interfax" reports, referring to Georgian mass media.

So far, there is no information about any casualties and victims during the special operation.
