Wrestler Aniuar Geduev agrees to perform for Iran
Aniuar Geduev, a free style wrestler from Kabardino-Balkaria has accepted the proposal of the Iranian club "Bimekh Razi". He will fight as a member of the team at the World Club Championship in Tehran on December 7-8.
The championship will take place under the new rules, which come into force in 2018. In particular, a new weight category is introduced – of up to 79 kg, the "championat.ru" reports.
Besides, the competition will last two days instead of one; and the athletes will be weighed in the morning of each competitive day to confirm their weight category, the "Sovietskiy Sport" writes.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Aniuar Geduev won the silver medal in the weight category of up to 74 kg in the finals of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
