Nagorno-Karabakh accuses Azerbaijan of a break-through attempt

Today, fighters from the Defence Army have stopped a break-through attempt of Azerbaijani spies, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, Azerbaijan has claimed its positions had been shelled 109 times during a day. Yesterday, on January 24, Azerbaijan claimed 120 cases of shelling.

A reconnaissance and sabotage group of the Azerbaijani soldiers and officers took an attempt to break through the contact line in the south-eastern direction, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reports.

"According to the preliminary information, the sabotage group suffered losses," the website of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reports.

By provoking the aggravation of the situation in the conflict zone, Azerbaijan tries to divert the attention of the international community from human rights problems in the country, wrote on Twitter Tigran Balayan, the press secretary for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
