Head of "Yabloko" office in Ingushetia reports visit of CCE agents
Ruslan Mutsolgov, the head of the election office of the "Yabloko" Party, said that his home was visited by employees of the Centre for Combating Extremism (CCE) and invited his brother, Magomed Mutsolgov, to a "prophylactic conversation".
On March 18, citizens of Russia will choose the president for the next six years. Seven candidates from different parties and self-nominated Vladimir Putin take part in the presidential election.
"On the eve of the Russian presidential election, the house of Ruslan Mutsolgov, the head of the Ingush regional branch of the 'Yabloko' Party, was visited by CCE officers to serve a summons for a 'prophylactic conversation' to his brother, Magomed Mutsolgov, a public figure, a journalist and a rights defender," wrote Ruslan Mutsolgov, who is a confidant of one of the candidates for the presidency, on his Facebook page tonight.
In his opinion, the summons for Magomed Mutsolgov to the CCE is an attempt to influence "public and political processes" and to "exert pressure on public figures."
