In Armenia, three people blown up on a mine
Today, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported that in the Tavush Region, three persons have been injured in an explosion of a mine and hospitalized.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 6, another resident of the Tavush Region of Armenia was blown up on a mine.
The Tavush Region of Armenia borders on Azerbaijan. The Armenian Ombudsman claimed that villages of the municipality were deliberately shelled. On April 12, the Armenian MoD accused Azerbaijan of shelling a civilian car near the Baganis community in the Tavush Region.
On April 12, three persons were blown up on a mine in the territory of the Aigedzor community. According to physicians, one of the victims got an injury of his forearm and two others of their legs.
"We provided the first aid, and they were transported to Berd," the website "Tert.am" quotes today an agent of the Aigedzor Health Centre as reporting.
Artsrun Ovannisyan, the press secretary for the Armenian MoD, has confirmed the hospitalization of the victims to the Berd hospital. "Residents of the Aigedzor community accidentally stepped on a mine, and an explosion occurred as a result," reported Artsrun Ovannisyan as quoted by the "News-Armenia".
Three 32-36-year-old old residents of the Aigepar village were blown up on a mine. They stepped on the mine while they were collecting herbs, the "Shamshyan.com" reports.
