Georgian wrestler is Champion of Europe
On May 1, at the European Wrestling Championships held in the city of Kaspiysk, Robert Kobliashvili from Georgian national team has won the gold medal.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the European Wrestling Championship started in Kaspiysk on April 30 and will last till May 6. It involves 200 athletes from 35 countries.
On May 1, Robert Kobliashvili (the weight category of up to 87 kg) defeated Russian athlete Bekkhan Ozdoev in the final fight, and brought a gold medal to the Georgian national team in the Greco-Roman wrestling, the "News-Georgia" has reported.
The Georgian athlete Nugzar Tsurtsumiya (55 kg) has also won the bronze medal by defeating the Russian Vasily Topoev.
Apart from Bekkhan Ozdoev, a wrestler Vitaly Schur has brought a silver medal to the Russian national team, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports.
