Baku parade indicates Azerbaijan's readiness to war for Nagorno-Karabakh (+video)

In Baku, US-made helicopters, cruise missiles, and other weapons demonstrated at a parade have confirmed statements about the superiority of the Azerbaijani army over the enemy and testify to the country's readiness for large-scale battles in the Karabakh conflict zone. This opinion was expressed by experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".

In 2018, Azerbaijan celebrates the 100th anniversary for the creation of its armed forces.

The parade held on June 26 demonstrated more than 240 military vehicles, including the most advanced types of weapons and equipment.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev noted that "the Karabakh war is not completed, and only its first stage was finished." The President believes "Azerbaijan will restore its territorial integrity."

Military expert Azad Isazade has noted that the Baku parade demonstrated the Azerbaijani army possesses qualitatively new types of weapons, including, for example, Turkish SOM long-range cruise missiles and Israeli EXTRA missiles.

The Baku's intentions to enhance the Azerbaijani army's strength suggest a high probability of a new war for Nagorno-Karabakh, believes Tofiq Turkel, an observer of the "Turan".

The expert treats the participation in the parade of the Armed Forces of Turkey as an indicator of the "inviolability of the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood."
