Azerbaijan blames Armenia for 79 bombardments during 24 hours

Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line for 79 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

According to MoD, the shelling was delivered from the Armenian swelling settlements of Berkaber, Mosesgekh, Chinari and Karabakh, and from the Karabakh villages of Chilyabyurt, Shuraabad, Tagybeili, Bash Karvend, Djevakhirli, Novruzlu, Yusifdjanly, Ashagy Veiselli, Gobu Dilagarda, Karvend, Garakhanbeili, Goradiz and Nyuzgyar.

The Azerbaijani positions stationed in the villages of Mezem of the Gazakh District, Agdam and Mundjuglu were among those shelled.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 20, Azerbaijan announced 92 bombardments from the Armenian side during the past 24 hours. In its turn, on August 18, Nagorno-Karabakh accused Azerbaijan of 170 acts of shelling within the week from August 12 to August 18.
