Azerbaijan announced shelling of two villages near the Armenian border
Within the last 24 hours, the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line was violated for 87 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 21-22, Azerbaijan counted 83 shelling episodes from the Armenian side during the past 24 hours. Earlier, Nagorno-Karabakh stated 170 bombardments committed by Azerbaijan during the week of August 12-18.
On August 22-23, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled in the villages of Gushchu Airym of the Gazakh District, and Zamanly of the Gedabek District, located near the border with Armenia. Armenian militaries used large-calibre machine guns, says the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.
