Azerbaijan counts 95 shelling episodes from Armenia

Within the last 24 hours, Armenia's servicemen violated the ceasefire regime for 96 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 31, Azerbaijan counted 86 cases of shelling by Armenia.

"During the last 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 95 times," the Azerbaijani MoD has said in its statement today.

The shelling was delivered both from the territory of Armenia and from the territories that Azerbaijan treats as its occupied ones, the statement says.

As of 9:56 a.m. Moscow time on September 1, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had not posted any comments to the above statement on their websites.
