Azerbaijan reports machine-gun fire in conflict zone
During the last 24 hours, Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone for 84 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 10, the Azerbaijani side announced 95 cases, when its positions were shelled; and a day earlier – 96 ones. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh counted 200 cases of shelling undertaken by Azerbaijan over the past week, on September 2-8.
Since morning on September 10 and until morning on September 11, large-calibre machine-gun fire was delivered on the positions stationed in five dwelling settlements: in the villages of Ferekhli and Gushchu Airym in the Gazakh District, in the villages of Kokhanebi and Agbulag in the Tovuz District, and in the village of Zamanly and on the nameless heights in the Gadabay District, the Azerbaijan MoD has stated on its website today.
According to the MoD, the shelling was conducted both from the territory of Armenia and from positions located "near the occupied villages."
As of 8:50 a.m. Moscow time on September 11, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh gave no comments of the above opponent's statement on their websites.
