After wiretapping scandal, Pashinyan orders to conduct searches at oligarchs and officials

Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, has ordered to conduct raids and searches of the houses of oligarchs and former high-ranking officials, and find the organizers of wiretapping of the telephone conversation of Arthur Vanetsyan, the head of the National Security Service (NSS) with Valery Osipyan, the head of the Armenian Police.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 11, a record was posted on the YouTube of a telephone conversation of Vanetsyan with the head of the Special Investigating Service (SIS) on the arrest of Robert Kocharyan and Yuri Khachaturov within the case on dispersing demonstrators.

On September 11, Nikol Pashinyan ordered to conduct raids and searches of country's oligarchs and former high-ranking officials to identify the initiators of the wiretapping, the "Sputnik-Armenia" has reported.

According to Pashinyan, if law enforcers fail to cope with the task, he will personally get down to it.

The wiretapping of a telephone conversation of the heads of NSS and SIS is a betrayal, a crime against the statehood of Armenia, Mr Pashinyan has added.

According to his story, the NSS and the Armenian Police were instructed to "identify the criminals" in the shortest possible time and bring them to the strictest responsibility.
