Azerbaijan announces about 90 machine-gun attacks per day

During the last 24 hours, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone for 90 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 11, the Azerbaijani side declared 84 bombardments of its positions, and the day earlier – about 95 ones. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh counted 200 shelling episodes undertaken by Azerbaijan over the past week, that is, on September 2-8.

Since the morning on September 11 to the morning on September 12, the cease-fire regime was violated for 90 times, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today.

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Gaimagly, Gushchu Airym, Gyzylgadjyly and Bala Djafarli in the Gazakh District, the village of Mundjuglu in the Tovuz District, and on the nameless heights in the Gadabay District were shelled from large-calibre machine guns, the Azerbaijani MoD has specified.

As of 8:50 a.m. Moscow time on September 12, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had posted no comments to the above Azeri statements on their websites.
