Georgian woman arrested in South Ossetia

The court arrested for two months a woman from the Khurvaleti village of the Gori municipality, who was detained at the border on September 29, the KGB of South Ossetia reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 29, 37-year-old Maya Otinashvili was detained in the vicinity of the Khurvaleti village in the Gori municipality. The municipal authorities appealed to the EU observation mission in connection with the woman's detention.

According to the South Ossetian KGB, for a long time, Maya Otinashvili took money and helped residents of South Ossetia and Georgia illegally cross the border.
