Azerbaijan counts 30 bombardments in conflict zone

Positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 30 times within the past 24 hours, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 8, Azerbaijan stated the shelling of two villages in the conflict zone; in total, during the past 24 hours, it counted 23 ceasefire violations. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh fixed 150 shelling episodes from the Azerbaijani side within the week of September 30-October 6.

"Within the last 24 hours, the units of Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in various sections of the frontline for 30 times," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today.

According to the MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled from the villages that Azerbaijan considers as its occupied territories.
