Azerbaijan counts 29 attacks in the conflict zone

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated today that the positions of its army deployed in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled from large-calibre machine guns.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 22, Azerbaijan declared 22 shelling attacks on its positions in the conflict zone for the past 24 hours. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh counted 80 attacks committed by the Azerbaijani party during the week of October 14-20.

On October 22-23, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed at nameless heights in the Gazakh District were exposed to shelling. "The units of the Armed Forces of Armenia, by using large-calibre machine guns, violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 29 times during the last 24 hours," the website of the Azerbaijan MoD has reported.

Today, as of 9:10 a.m. Moscow time, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not posted any statements regarding the shelling information in their official websites.
