Soldier wounded in NKR

On October 23, as a result of a shot from Azerbaijani positions, a soldier of the Defence Army was wounded, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has reported.

"At about 12:00 a.m., the soldier-conscript Hayk Sargsyan, born in 1999, was wounded in combat post by an enemy's shot in one of the section of the south-eastern direction of the frontline," the Mod of the NKR has reported in its statement.

The wounded soldier was hospitalized, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports; his condition is assessed as satisfactory. In order to clarify the circumstances of the incident, an investigation is underway, the "NEWS.am" reports also referring to the information of the MoD of the NKR.
