Beslan-related case hearing postponed
Opening arguments in a case against commanders of the Pravoberezhnyi District Division of Internal Affairs of Beslan, North Ossetia, charged with negligence entailing grave consequences, that were to take place earlier today in the Pravoberezhnyi Court of Beslan have been postponed.
According to Ms Rita Sidakov, a representative of the Beslan Mothers Committee, the committee had filed a complaint to the court about the fact that victims had not been called to the arguments.
As was reported earlier, a criminal case under Article 293 "Negligence entailing grave consequences" of Part 3 of the Russian Criminal Code was opened against Colonel Miroslav Aidarov, chief of the Pravoberezhnyi DDIA of Beslan; Lieutenant-Colonel Guram Driayev, chief of staff at the DDIA; and Lieutenant-Colonel Taimuraz Murtazov, deputy chief of the DDIA for service matters, according to Interfax.
