Azerbaijan claims shelling from machine guns

Over the past day, the Azerbaijani forces were shelled 22 times, reported the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 21, Azerbaijan claimed shelling in four villages. In total, over a day, the MoD registered 30 violations of the ceasefire in the conflict zone. In its turn, the Ministry of Defence for Nagorno-Karabakh registered 80 attacks on its positions from the Azerbaijani side in the period from November 11 to 17.

"Over the past day, units of the Armenian armed forces used large-calibre machine guns and 22 times violated the ceasefire regime in various directions of the front," reports today the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

According to the Azerbaijani side, the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the village of Agdam in the Tovuz District came under fire.

By 9:05 a.m. of today, on their official websites, the Ministries of Defence for Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not yet commented on the statement voiced by the Azerbaijani MoD.
