Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of machine gun shelling

Within the past 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 26 times, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 5, Azerbaijan counted 24 shelling attacks committed by Armenia during the past 24 hours. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh reported 120 shelling attacks from the Azerbaijani side during the period from November 25 to December 1.

"During 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia, by using large-calibre machine guns, violated the ceasefire regime in various sections of the frontline for 26 times," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today.

According to the website, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed at the nameless heights of Gadabay District were shelled.
