Azerbaijan claims 20 shelling attacks from Armenia

Within the past 24 hours, the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line for 20 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 18, Azerbaijan declared 30 shelling attacks of its positions during the last 24 hours.

"Within 24 hours, units of the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 20 times," the Azerbaijani MoD reported on its website this morning.

The shelling was carried out both from Armenia and from the territories that Azerbaijan considers as its occupied ones.

As of 11:00 a.m. Moscow time on January 19, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh had not commented on this statement on their websites.
