Azerbaijan reports shelling of its positions in five villages

During the past 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani troops were attacked for 20 times, the country's Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

"Within the last 24 hours, the units of the Armenian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire regime in different sections of the frontline for 20 times," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD reports.

According to the MoD, its positions stationed in the villages of Kemerli and Gaimagly of the Gazakh District, as well as in Agbulag and Mundjuglu of the Tovuz District, and in the village of Zamanly of the Gadabay District, came under fire. The fire was delivered "both from Armenia and from the territory controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh."
